My first real foray into the games industry saw me working as a junior designer on a project from its inception. Border Patrol was created in a process of iterative quick prototyping, not long after I began my work at Paw Print games.
Below is a video of gameplay presented at GDC 2018. Things of note that I worked on here include the timing, flow and positioning of the tutorial, as well as the design of the level flow including the attributes of the robots the player encounters as well as when they are encountered.
Throughout the project, I saw myself prototyping for almost every part of the gameplay. Every aspect of the game can be traced back to a design decision that I was involved with in some way.
